Stainless Steel SW Flange

SW flanges is an abbreviation of socket weld flange. Which is a main flange type in the daily application. SW flanges are classified as socket-weld raised-face flanges, which means that they have a socket welded onto the end of the pipe and a raised face for gasket seating. This provides a tight seal in the pipeline, preventing any leakage or contamination.

Stainless steel SW flanges come in a variety of sizes, from ½ inch to more than 48 inches in diameter, and in various pressure rating classes, such as 150#, 300#, 600#, 900#, 1500#, and 2500#. Stainless steel SW flanges and forged and CNC machined so it have a smooth surface finish that makes them easy to clean and maintain. They also have better flow characteristics than threaded or welded flanges, which reduces turbulence and pressure drops in the pipeline.
