Doule pin clamp is also a type of tri-clamp fitting that is commonly used in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. Compared with single pin clamp, Double pin clamp have two pins instead of one pins.
Below is the main difference between single and double pin clamps.
Single Pin Clamp:
– Only has one pin or point of contact to hold the object being clamped
– Generally used for lighter duty applications
– Easier to position and adjust since there is only one point of contact
– Can be less expensive than double pin clamps
Double Pin Clamp:
– Has two pins or points of contact to hold the object being clamped
– Generally used for heavier duty applications
– Provides more stability and evenly distributed pressure on the clamped object
– Can be more difficult to position and adjust since there are two points of contact
– Can be more expensive than single pin clamps.
